Inorganic I: This course will provide undergraduate students with the main and basic concepts of inorganic chemistry. It deals with the concepts in bonding, trends in periodic properties, bonding and molecular symmetry. The students are expected to learn the main concepts related to inorganic chemistry which will be very helpful in the next part of this course which deals with coordination chemistry of complexes and their related spectra.

Inorganic II: The course continues with the ideas and principles obtained on the previous semester (Inorganic chemistry I), and extend them to have a better understanding of inorganic compounds (coordination complexes).

The focus will be mainly on the molecular structures and properties of inorganic complexes and compounds. A comprehensive study on the bonding in coordination complexes, their structures, molecular symmetry and its relationship to their electronic spectra will be covered. An overview on the different definitions of acids and bases and their classifications will be presented at the end of this course.
